Every morning, all CWA Wildcats recommit to these values in the school pledge.
These values are woven into our learning environment and curriculum. Required uniforms empower our scholars to carry themselves with pride. Teachers give scholars opportunities to exceed expectations, practice leadership, and become role models. An emphasis on service learning in every class helps students prepare to be change agents in their communities.
“People come up to us when we’re out in public and say how well behaved our children are. And I think CWA has a lot to do with that.”
— Terri Murrell, parent
At School and In LifeWe know strong character isn’t just for the classroom. Daily communication with parents supports our scholars in becoming their best selves in any setting. Our Passport to Success empowers parents, scholars, and teachers to communicate and collaborate.
Our focus on character excellence is clear. Parents notice CWA’s high expectations and communication with parents.
Plus, CWA has received multiple awards for its character education program. The Character Education Partnership named us a National School of Character in 2014, and selected CWA for national Promising Practice awards in 2010-2013. In 2011, we were awarded honorable mention as a State School of Character.
