Rigorous academics and character development inspire lifelong learning.

Thank You for 16 Years of Success!

Dear CWA Family and the Milwaukee Community,

Thank you for allowing us 16 years of providing educational success and personal character development to your children. We are humbled to have seen so many young scholars grow both inside and outside our halls and classrooms.

Capitol West Academy is Now Closed
We were unable to secure a charter renewal for the 2021 school year and announced to our school family early in 2020 that this would be our last year together.

May was Teacher Appreciation Month; we celebrate our educators and staff always!

On June 4, 2020 we promoted our last K5 and 8th Grade classes in a hybrid in-person and digital ceremony in the backyard of our campus. Watch the Wildcat Zone for photos from this year’s graduations and to check out photos from past events.

CWA History
Capitol West Academy was founded in 2003 by SaintA (then St. Aemilian-Lakeside) to serve the educational needs of the Milwaukee community. We have educated hundreds of K4 through 8th grade students since then.

CWA students graduate and go on to successful high school experiences. Our teachers and staff have always worked tirelessly to create an educational environment that promotes learning and core values to create successful students who are lifelong learners.

Thank You, Teachers, Staff and Support Team!
On behalf of students, families and SaintA, a huge thank you to all of the educators; tutors, coaches and other volunteers; and school staff.

Your dedication to helping scholars prepare to learn each day and grow as individuals and community members has been noticed and greatly appreciated.
